argh. Google maps wont let me put any markers down... really frustrating. If I change the route even one more time it cuts the map off at the change. Up to Atlanic City the route is correct. I want to drive STRAIGHT through Manhattan. It will be slow and maybe a pain in the ass, but come on!!! Times Square on a motorcycle. You have to do it! Tokyo and Osaka were FAR from the worst parts of the my Honshu trip. Industrial traffic (trucks and semis) on a 2 lane road is FAR worse than city traffic. After New York City and State the route needs to go closer to the coast, but we HAVE to try and hit all the states we can like Rhode Isalnd. Ill be damned if I have to take another trip just to say I have been to Rhode island on motorcycle. You have to try and hit as many landmarks as you can in as few trips as your can. Too much to do and roads to ride to waste time and gas doing the same road twice. So why go all the way to Halifax? good question. Because when (not if) we do a Cananda ride Halifax is too far out of the way. It will be easier to do Nova Scotia on this trip rather than on a Canada tour. Next map... the way back.
